We rely on your donations to fulfil our aim of supporting deaf people in Cumbria. You can choose to donate to a specific initiative or to the organisation as a whole. You can be assured that every penny you give will be used to provide services to our deaf and deafblind clients.
Ways That You Can Donate
You can make a donation online by visiting our JustGiving page. You can make a one-off donation or set up a regular donation.
Don’t forget to let us know if you are a UK tax payer. UK charities are entitled to 25% tax reclaim from the HMRC on every £1 donated by UK taxpayers. If you are a UK taxpayer we can reclaim from HMRC basic-rate tax on any gift you make.
This increases the value of your gift. For example, if you give £10 in this tax year using Gift Aid, it is worth £12.50 to us.
You have probably given a lot of thought to making your will, but have you thought of leaving something to CDA? Many people now use their wills to leave a gift to their favourite charity like Cumbria Deaf Association.
Such gifts are free from inheritance tax and can reduce your family’s overall tax liability. We can even help by arranging a free will writing service for you.
You can also get involved by holding your own fundraising event. This is a great way to bring friends, family and the community together and raise money for a good cause.
Not sure where to begin? Get in touch with us and we can supply the necessary support.
