This Term We Welcome Beth

Everyone at CDA would like to welcome Beth who is joining us on a work placement. Here are a few words from Beth:

“Hello! My name is Beth and I’m a student from Heriot-Watt University. I’m from Whitehaven, so I couldn’t wait to do my work placement in Cumbria with the Cumbria Deaf Association.

I’ll be here until May, and I want to meet lots of different people so I can learn as much sign language as I can before I go back to university for my final year. I’ll be at different events throughout Cumbria and I love a chat over a cuppa!

Hopefully I’ll see you there!”
