Lake Windermere Kayak Trip

The sun came out for our little kayak trip around part of Lake Windermere on Saturday 8th July 2017. Setting off on tandem sit on top kayaks. Some of us got off on the island and had a little paddle before we set off around the other side and fought hard against the wind on the way back. No one fell in unless you count me when getting off the kayak when we arrived back and I ended up sitting in the water. Thankfully it wasn’t very deep and the weather was gloriously warm so I dried out quickly.

I think this could be a summer activity to try again.
